Dean Galusha Obituary
NEW YORK MILLS, NY - Dean A. Galusha, 85, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2018.
He was born on July 28, 1933 in Little Falls, a son of the late Albert and Anna Mae Ellers Galusha. Dean was a graduate of Dolgeville High School and received his Associate's Degree in nursing from MVCC. He served his country faithfully in the US Air Force, during the Korean War, after which he served in the US Army 331st General Hospital and was a Desert Storm Veteran. Dean was united in marriage to Wanda Homa, a loving relationship of fifty years; the couple resided in New York Mills. Mr. Galusha was employed as a nurse at Faxton Hospital until his retirement.
Dean enjoyed spending time with his family; he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid Yankees fan.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Wanda; two daughters, Dina Keator and Susan (Robert) Bobango; along with six cherished grandchildren, Megan Keator, Lauren Kulpa, Erin, Ben, Hannah and Shannon Bobango.
Funeral Services will be private with burial in St. Stanislaus and St. Casimir Cemetery, Whitestown with Military Honors.
