DEAN KOEHLINGER

I worked with Dean, and his dad, (Uncle Win), for a few years in the mid sixties when I was still in high school. Great guy. One of my favorite memories is a time we went to Powers on Maumee and had chili. Dean wanted a second bowl, but the waitress told him he hadn't eaten all the beans. He convinced her that since he was paying for it, he didn't have to eat the beans.

Dean and I shared a back yard fence in the late 1950's (his house on Plaza and mine on Abbott).
He and I would play catch with a baseball on a regular basis - tossing the ball over the fence.

We bought all our bikes from him and he serviced them. He was a smart,friendly, honest business man. May he RIP. Thank you for all your dedication. A wonderful man.
