So sorry to hear of your dads passing Chris..

I grew up in Crown Point and Mr. White's youngest son Chris was one of my good friends. Older brother Bruce used to have lunch at T.J. Maloney's when I worked there. You can rest easy and at peace Mr. White, you raised a wonderful family and left a solid legacy in Northern Indiana. A true giant in business that we all look up to.

I went to grade school with Dean's son Chris and we were good friends. I grew up knowing that Mr. White was a legend in our town of Crown Point and a very special man in that he did so much for the local community. I'm sad to say that Chris and I lost touch, but I want to send prayers and condolences to the entire White family.

My sincere condolences to Bruce, Chris and Craig. May the good Lord comfort you in the passing of your father.

Dean will always be remembered as a giant of the industry contributing so much as well as a very generous and caring person not only for his family but to all that touched his life. I was fortunate to have worked along side Dean in his out of home industry efforts...an experience that was so special in every regard. My thoughts and prayers are with you in the celebration of Dean's life.

My sincerest condolences to the White family. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for Mr. White's generosity and the genuine care and enthusiasm he brought to the City of Crown Point. He blessed me with the greatest gift I have ever received, the 2015 Dean and Barbara White Scholarship. This created opportunities for me that I never could have imagined possible without him. I am forever grateful and I will do my very best to carry on the legacy of success he created in his life through the remainder of mine.

Rest in peace i remember when i worked for you at holiday inn you always told everyone that you had. Alot of big dreams to come. And they did come true you treated us great you treated us like humane beings everyone will miss you. You were really a great legend

Dean White created a wonderful legacy across the world. He had dreams and made the real. I appreciate the time I had known him and most of his family. My prayers and thoughts are for the family and know he is in heaven.

Mrs. White, Bruce and Family, I was saddened to hear of the Homegoing of Mr. White. I will remember his smile, and firm handshake on the many mornings I would see him at the Holiday Inn/ Radisson Hotel. In addition, I will always cherish his kind words of inspiration to me. My sincere condolences to the White family! Visiting my hometown you can't look anywhere without seeing the incredible generosity that was given back to the community! Down to earth, hard-working,unarrogant...just an amazing man. I remember stumbling thru the Admiral Benbow in my ski boots with Craig after a day of skiing at the Pines. RIP Mr White! A life well lived!!!

I was very sorry to hear of Mr. White's passing. I was one of his son Chris's childhood friends and I remember a wonderful man, great father, and a mentor to me when my own dad passed when I was 8 years old. I pray for peace in this time of grief for Mr. White's family. J.J. (Chip) Holloway
