Dean Widseth, age 76, of Minnetonka and McGregor, MN, died suddenly 11-17-01. Preceded in death by wife, Emily. Survived by wife of 31 years, Shirley; son, Bradley; daughters, Jann and Jill; stepsons, Kenneth and Gregory Nordstrom; grandchildren, Brent and Brianne Nordstrom; brother, Richard of Bemidji. Born in Gonvick, MN. Graduate of McIntosh H.S. and Univ. of MN. Served with the Navy at Great Lakes in WWII. Played on Bernie Bierman's 1947-48-49 Gopher Football teams. Member of M-Club. Retired after 43 years as a financial planner for IDS/American Express. Funeral Services Wednesday 11 am Bethlehem Lutheran Church 41st & Lyndale Ave S. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 pm Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel W. 50th & Vernon Ave at Hwy 100 and 1 hour prior to service at church. Private family Interment.
