Deana Fowler

I ran into Deana online when I was an undergrad in 2000 and she had shared an image of a Castilian manuscript she had encountered on a trip to a monastery in Spain. I studied the manuscript for a course and contributed to the Dictionary of the Old Spanish Language project because of her. Her wit and humor came through in every email she sent.

She came to mind tonight and I'm sorry to see I'm too late to say thank you to her. My condolences to all who loved her, I'm just happy to say she had a positive impact in my life.
