Deann "Dee" Lydia (nee Diener) Lewis, a long-time resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and more recent resident of Mequon, Wisconsin, went to her heavenly home on February 23, 2025, at the age of 81. Dee's life was deeply rooted in her Christian faith, her love for family, and her loyal friendships. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, photography, desktop publishing, spoiling her pets, volunteering at church and the Midland Figure Skating Club, and was a lifelong learner. Above all, her greatest joy was making memories with her granddaughters.

Dee was born on August 1, 1943, to the late John and Dorothy (nee Strieter) Diener, in Pigeon, Michigan. She graduated from Laker High School and the Northeastern School of Commerce. On June 20, 1964, she married John "Bill" William Lewis at Cross Lutheran Church, in Pigeon, Michigan. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2013. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at JP Burroughs for 21 years, served as the Chief Deputy County Clerk for Saginaw County for 18 years and then after her retirement enjoyed a part-time position at US Imaging. She was a long-time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, in Saginaw and a member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Cedarburg, Wisconsin for the past 9 years.

Dee was the dedicated mother of Jodi (Eric) Kittel of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, and a loving Grammy to Grace and Hope. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Ronald (Judy) Diener; sister-in-law, Carol Diener; beloved cousin, Marilee (Rex) Lawler; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, Clifford and Grace (nee Greenfield) Lewis, brother, Dennis Diener, sisters-in-law, Marilyn Diener, Irene Keeper, Vera Nissen, and brothers-in-law, Daniel Lewis, Edward Peck, and Ray Keeper.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Saginaw, Michigan, on May 10th, 2025, at 11:00 AM, visitation from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Private Burial will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Saginaw Braille Bible Program, Valley Lutheran High School Saginaw, or First Immanuel Lutheran Cedarburg Care Ministry (Stephen Ministers).
