May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Judge Benefield was one of my favorite judges. She was straight forward and followed the law to the point when rendering sentences. I served the citizens of Clayton County with pride.
I will continue to pray for the family to have peace and remember all the memories she left behind. God has an awesome angel next to him. Rest in peace Judge Benefield!!!

I had the privilege of serving Judge Deborah Benefield for almost 25 years. I watched as she presided day after day with fairness and compassion. We became friends and remained so even after our retirements. I admired her sense of humor, her loyalty, and her unequalled code of ethics. She always chose the high ground. I will miss you.
