Blaine Riddick Obituary
Blaine Edwin Riddick 58, transitioned on Wednesday February 2, 2022 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after a long illness. Blaine was born in Hertford , North Carolina and was the youngest son born to the late William E Wiggins and Mildred E Riddick. He was educated at
Gates County Public Schools in North Carolina. Blaine loved his family, especially his nieces AKA “Rotten Kids”. Blaine loved people and never
new a stranger. Blaine leaves to cherish precious memories (2) brothers Benjamin Riddick(Shirley) of Gates, NC, Willie Riddick of Richmond, VA, (4) sisters Martha Lamison(Cleveland) of Richmond, VA, Deborah Sweat of Hampton, VA, Ella Alston(James) of Newport News, VA and Michelle Riddick of Carbondale, PA. A special nephew/son Donnavan Riddick. A host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 3 pm- 5 pm at Nickelson-Cummings F.H. Service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 @ 11 am at Empowerment Zone 1901 E. Pembroke Ave, Hampton, Va 23663. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park 2700 Parish Ave, Newport News, Va.
