   Deborah L. Huber, nee LaQuet, 65, of Mascoutah, IL born Feb. 28, 1958, in Belleville, IL died Tuesday, Apr. 4, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL, with family by her side.


   Debbie was a retired laborer from Laborer’s Local 742, Mascoutah and bar manager at V.F.W. Post 7682 in Mascoutah. Debbie enjoyed her Sunday fun days, travelling, cruises, beaches and especially travelling with her good friend, Barb Odem.


   She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley E. and Mary L., nee Davinroy, LaQuet, daughter, Angela LaQuet, son, Daniel Huber, two grandsons, Baby Blake, John H. Huber, granddaughter, Leslie Williams, sister, Tina Reiniger and two brothers, Stanley and Tom LaQuet.


   Surviving is her husband, John R. Huber whom she married in Nashville, IL on Apr. 10, 1975; her children, Jennifer Droll (Nick Atwood), John Huber (Wendy Haas), Crystal Huber (Kelly Knaup); grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.


   Memorials may be made to Mascoutah Police Department, 3 West Main St., Mascoutah, IL 62258. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting mollfuneralhome.com.


   VISITATION: From 2 PM to 6 PM Saturday, Apr. 8, 2023, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.  There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Debbie,
As with all friendships, first are the laughs and memories and then tears when we must say goodby.
Although our friendship was way too short, I am grateful that we met. I miss you already. May your husband, John and family find comfort and strength from those who loved you.
