Deb was one of the nicest people I have truly ever worked with. She had such a warm smile, a twinkle in her eye, and every time I ran into her while working she would greet me with so much enthusiasm. Any time I would call for assistance, her attitude was so positive and I never sensed hesitancy in her willingness to help. She will be very missed at Walker Methodist. People like her are hard to find.

Deb had a very sweet spirit. She and I shared a lot of laughs at work - her huge smile and sense of humor will truly be missed here at work to brighten even the roughest of days. Always willing to help, always willing to do a little extra for someone in need - I feel lucky to have known Deb.

I am so saddened to learn of Debbie's passing. I met Debbie through her St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral connection -- i.e., Diane, Yvonne, and Gary. As a teacher at Kennedy HS, I enjoyed our teacher-student friendship. Debbie was so candid, clever, good-natured, yet had such keen perception. I am so sad for your great loss.

To Deb's loving family; Diane, Yvonne, Robert; cousins, caring neighbors, colleagues, countless loving friends, and dear Cali ~
I know that I'm not alone with my feelings of deep heartache and sorrow as a result of our shared, profound, loss.
Deb was, truly, a sparkling gem in our lives. Someone who gave us light, love, caring gestures and kind words when needed - and mostly, quite simply, pure joy by witnessing her love of life, her curiosity and her extraordinary sense of humor.
In the short, and yet, so poignant time that I was lucky to share with Deb, I witnessed so many examples of the gifts she gave to our world. She was a blessing to all she touched.
Rest in peace dear friend.
Love,
Freddie
