Deborah Kestner

SALTVILLE – Deborah M. "Terry" Kestner, age 44, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Deborah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Clara Helton, and paternal grandparents, Ben and Hettie Terry.
She was a devoted wife and mother, a 2002 graduate of the University of Virginia's College at Wise and was employed at Utility Trailer in Atkins, Va.
Survivors include her husband, Charles "Butch" Kestner; daughter, Brooke Marie Kestner, who was her pride and joy; parents, James and Eula Terry, Saltville; brothers, James Jr. and wife Lisia Terry, Rich Valley, Va., Christopher and wife Maryland Terry, Whitney, England, and Keith and wife Sabrina Terry, Max Meadows, Va.; mother-in-law, Rachel Kestner, Saltville; sister-in-law, Anne and husband Dale Evans, Saltville; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and special friends, Daphne McCready and Gail Henderson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kestner will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wade Kestner and the Rev. Mark Casey officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Sunday in the A.J. Aistrop family cemetery.
The family would like to thank everyone at Francis Marion Manor, Mrs. Becky Nash and the staff at Greever Clinic for their care.
