Debbie is warm, loved, fed, and finally in peace. She was a big help to me the past 3 years especially and I'll miss her giving nature and her tapping her signal out on my door to make sure I was ok.

I would like to extend my sympathy to Debbie's family............I know all of Cripple Creek will miss her. I;ve lived away for almost as many years as she lived but she always knew me when I came up home. I pray she is at peace in God's loving hands.

Recently while I was in Cripple Creek, Debbie helped me burn a pile of debris at my Mother's home. She said, "Just watch me. My Daddy taught me how to build a fire." She was so cute. She loved to be a "helper." We will miss her and her smiling face. She was always concerned about our mother and called her Ma. Resting gently in the arms of her saviour....we'll miss her until we meet again.

Debbie taught me many things about life, like just appreciating the basic needs a person has for friendship, family, and a desire to be helpful. Those who knew her will never forget her struggle with communication after she lost her voice. She was a very dear friend to me and my family and she will be missed very much. Love and prayers to all of her family and the community as well. Ava Frye Harrell
