Many years now since her loss she epitomizes our belief that artwork in only incidental to the life of the artist who has created it. Deborah´s artwork is alive in the artwork she has deposited here and as we show it, we are showing a bright beacon of the buoyant soul she was and is in her pictures. Rest, her soul.

I am so sorry to learn of Deborah's passing. She was my friend at Simmons and we had lost touch. I remember she made me laugh a lot, and was such a creative, kind soul. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

So many wonderful memories of all the years we lived next door. Ellen, you sent me a very touching letter when my son passed several years ago and that kindness has never faded in my heart. Thinking of you all with love.

I knew Deborah from Unitarian conferences, and also when she lived in Olympia. We had many common friends in the Pioneer Valley as well. I know she loved her animals. I remember vividly getting a call from her when she lived in Olympia. She was sobbing heavily, and I could barely make out what she was saying. She managed to to say "He's dead!". Not knowing who was dead, and worried what kind of corpse she was dealing with, I stayed on the phone with her till she'd calmed down a little. Turned out it was a pet hamster (or some similar critter)that had died suddenly. She had a heart of gold. I never even knew she was an artist. Please feel free to share this story, and extend my condolences to all her family and friends.

Deborah was a member of the Western Mass Eat-Up Meetup Group. She joined us on a number of occasions and was a lively and delightful member. I was shocked and saddened to learn of her death. We will miss her very much. May your memories of her help to ease your sorrow.

So sorry to hear of Deborah's passing. Jean O'hare contacted me to let me know. Losing a child is so tragic, that's not the way it's suppose to be. God Bless.

Deborah was a most unusually talented painter and pastel artist. She had a vivacious presence in the studio She cheered and greeted other studio artists and they were fond of her. I am saddened by her passing. I will miss her but she will remain alive in my heart. I am so proud to own some good paintings by her, they will keep her presence alive in our space at Anchor House of Artists.
