DEBORAH L. WEAVER

Deborah L. Weaver, 67, of Grandy, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. She retired from R.J. Reynolds after 13 years of service and was past Madam President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #882, held several offices in the American Legion Post #2 Auxillary, was a member of the VFW #637 and also a member of the Hopewell Moose Lodge. Deborah was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Kranz; and brother, Neil Middendorf.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas A. Weaver; parents, Raymond J. and Armella W. Middendorf; children Chantil Jones (Roy), Amber King (Bryan), Chad Kranz (Tara), David Kranz (Jenny), Brandon Kranz (Janna), Sean Weaver, Kyle Weaver (Ashley); 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pamela Petersen, Cheryl Middendorf, Sheila Middendorf; brothers, Kenneth Middendorf, Keith Middendorf; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends Monday night, January 21, 2019, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
