Deborah J Zirin

I only just learned out about Mrs. Zirin´s passing, and I cannot express enough my condolences for her family and friends.

This has opened a floodgate of old memories, for I had the honor of being one of her 1st grade students at Wayne Thomas in 2001. I remember her always encouraging us to do our very best.

Again I wish to express my deepest condolences for the loss of a beloved teacher, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Debbie and my late wife Lynda were best friends since Junior High and she was in our wedding. Many fond memories.

Debby was a loving and caring teacher and dear friend! She was always very supportive and helpful to me as I began my teaching career at Wayne Thomas!
We became good friends, and after she retired, we would make plans to take walks and go for coffee.
Debby even helped tutor my son the summer after first grade to help him become a more confident reader.
She was such a positive person with
a beautiful smile on her face and always knew the right thing to say.
Debby was the best! May her memory be a blessing!!!
