I would like to express my deepest sympathies regarding the death of your beloved Debbie. She was a civilian employee of the New Jersey State Police but had the heart of a Trooper. Debbie helped me and other New Jersey State Police line of duty death survivors. No one knew more about SP benefits than Debbie. We will miss her and know that she was one of a kind. She was a caring and sympathic aid to the numberous FTA members while she was actively employed with the NJ State Police and in her consulting position with the FTA. My condolences to your family during this most difficult time. I first met Debra in the aftermath of my husband (Tpr. Scott Gonzalez) tagic LOD death in 1997) explaining my subsequent benefits. She always remembered my name, and was helpful over the years if I had any questions. Dear Lauren & Rudy, Don and I have been praying for Debbie. We were so sad to hear she was taken from us. We loved her so much. How could you not? Her vibrant spirit and that laugh! From the minute we met at 15 Flamehill Rd - it was an instant friendship. She always wanted us to have a good time and be happy. She was the kindest, warmest, most generous person we had the honor of knowing. I'm sure she's looking down on us now from heaven. We will miss her so much.
