I only knew Debbie from work, but I will say she was always very helpful and pleasant. RIP Debra.

Debbie was a great lady and very knowledgeable, willing to share her insight and wisdom, she will be missed. She had a wonderful sense of humor. God bless and comfort the family and friends through this time, may she rest in peace.

Debbie was always there for me. I first met Debbie in 1986 when I began my career at the shipyard. She was one of the strongest woman I have ever met and I will always treasure her. My condolances to her entire family and may She RIP! God bless her and I will miss her!

Debbie was always very helpful anytime I would pop in with a payroll matter. She would drop whatever she was doing and address my matter right then and there, and with a cheerful demeanor. That is a rare dedication to serving others, and she demonstrated that anytime I met with her. Rest In Peace Debbie, and thank you for your service.

I will deeply miss Debbie for her sense of humor. We've had a lot of great times together and I cherish those moments she was a great friend and I loved her dearly and I will miss her forever, but I know she's at peace now shining down on all of us : from Sharon Ferrell

I’m so sorry for Debbie’s brother and Sharon and Bonnie. I know how close u all were. Deb and I shared talks and did go out a couple times while I lived across the street. She was a great gal with lots of personality. May she be at peace now. Shirley Scarponi.

Her sense of Humor

I am so very sorry to hear of Deb's passing. She was so wonderful to my Pop. My sincere condolences to the family.

She was a great friend. I always loved the way she treated everyone. I know her from state street to the shipyard. I am saddened by her passing

Serving me my first legal drink at State Street Saloon. We've been thicker than thieves ever since. Great memories sharing camps together in the 90's. My heart is broken for her loss and i extend condolences to her brother Peter and all of her family members, friends Bonnie, Sharon, and Alice. Praying for you all.

Debbie was a wonderful and kind lady. She was always ready to help anyone. Heaven has gained an angel.

Debbie was a true friend of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Fire Department. Early in my career, whenever a payroll issue came up she would go above and beyond in finding a resolution. No one will ever take your place, one if a kind.
