Debra Pullan Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 10, 2025.
With full hearts and endless gratitude, we celebrate the life of Debra Ann (Hall) Pullan, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 70. She left this world just as she lived, surrounded by love, laughter, and the people who adored her.

Born on March 20, 1954, in Beverly, MA, Deb had an irresistible warmth and charisma that made everyone feel at home. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and have them feeling like an old friend within minutes. She turned strangers into friends and friends into lifelong family. A mother figure to many, she welcomed everyone with open arms, ensuring no one ever left hungry. To know Deb was to be embraced as family, no questions asked. Her door was always open, her table always full, and her heart had room for everyone.

She was the beloved wife of Marcus Pullan, her best friend and true love. For Marcus, loving Deb wasn't just a privilege-it was the greatest joy of his life. As the proud mother of Tom Ouellette, Ian Ouellette, and Janelle Sanda, she was the heart and soul of her family. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being Nana to her granddaughter, Olivia, who filled her life with endless joy. She shared a close bond with her siblings, Daniel Hall and Nancy Sweetser, as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless lifelong friends whom she considered family.

Deb had a quick wit and a way with words. She always knew just what to say, whether to comfort, make you laugh, or set you straight with the kind of honesty only she could pull off. She gave not just what she had, but who she was-her time, her wisdom, and her whole heart to those she loved.

A celebration of Deb's life will be held on March 22, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Shelter Harbor Inn in Westerly, RI, where we will do exactly what she would have wanted: share stories, laugh through the tears, and honor her with the same warmth and joy she brought into our lives. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North American Butterfly Association, a cause close to Deb's heart, symbolizing the beauty and fleeting nature of life.

Deb's love, humor, and kindness will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

I´ll always remember the evenings spent in the basement with Deb and Marcus drinking too much hard cider and listening to Cat Stevens. It´s been nearly 25 years and I had hoped one day to relive those times. A great lady who´s passing is hard to believe from this side of the pond. All my love, Archie

Ah. Cousin Deb. Wicked sweet but tough as nails simultaneously. The pics are last year to Puerto Vallarta preceded by a visit to San Diego. Deb *so* wanted to travel; see the world!
Godspeed Cousin. Now, you can travel the universe...

A stranger who walked into your house with a bunch of questions on a study questionnaire - you welcomed me into your home - & I always felt like you were a friend, after that - & Marcus. The warm heart. Yes - - I will miss you.
