Debra Uccelli Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 5, 2025.
Debra Mae (Bean) Uccelli, age 74, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, after a two-year battle with ALS.

Born on January 16, 1951, in Redwood City, California, Debra was the first of five children born to Ernie and Dona Bean. Debra was the quintessential big sister-lovingly in charge and deeply committed to her family.

Debra was known for her generosity and creativity, especially when bringing family together. Whether it was a Christmas dinner, a bridal or baby shower, she poured her heart and talents into creating beautiful celebrations for her family and friends.

For twenty years, Debra worked as a teacher's aide at St. Pius School, a role she deeply cherished. She found great joy in supporting both students and staff, and her presence left a lasting impression on the school community.

She also had a passion for travel, with Tahoe, Italy, France, Scotland, and Ireland holding special places in her heart.

Debra is survived by her mother, Dona; her husband of 53 years, Richard; her daughter, Stephanie Vinatieri, and son-in-law Daniel; and her treasured grandchildren, Gino, Olivia, and Isabella. She is also survived by her four siblings and a large, loving extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all who adored her and will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church, 1100 Woodside Road, Redwood City, CA 94061.
