So sorry about Deirdre's passing but glad she was with family.

Our deepest sympathies to Deirdre’s entire family. Deirdre was a strong, intelligent and accomplished woman, who loved her children fiercely, cherished her friends and enjoyed life. We are grateful to have known her for over fifty years and will remember our dear friend, her life well lived, while missing her, especially her newsy Christmas cards, at her favorite time of year!
Sincerely, John and Julie Bostdorf

Deirdre was one of a kind. Her knowledge about just about anything was amazing. Her since of humor was the best thing about her. She led a Bible study on the Old Testament at the assisted living where I work. In her memory we are going to continue the study she started. She made a very big different in the lives of her students. She is missed and loved.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Deirdre was one of a kind. She, my mother, and Betty M. bought a cookbook and every week they would host dinner at each person's home, cooking out of the cookbook. I was lucky enough to be around during some of the dinners. Deirdra was a hoot. Great sense of humor. Betty passed several years ago, my mom passed last year. Deirdre was the last of the dinner club. Smart, charming, beautiful, wicked sense of humor---absolutely the perfect description of her. She was an incredible lady.

I had the opportunity to first work with Deirdre on Governor Kirk Fordice's campaign in 1991. Way before anyone really understood precinct targeting, Deirdre produced a well-documented and complete report showing us "where to hunt where the ducks were" and to be laser focused where to find our votes. And it worked. We were able to reconnect while she was at the Water Resources Association and I was serving as State Director of USDA Rural Development in Mississippi. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into all she did - she was a true Renaissance woman.

A dear friend, mentor and a true pleasure to be in her company for diversity in topic and depth of her knowledge! She is greatly missed!
