I will never meet in my lifetime someone as kind as you Del. Over 35 years of friendship and you never talked smack about anyone even when I knew you didn't like that person.

I'm glad I still have 2 times a day I think of you. 730 is Del Time because as you and I know, those digits spell your name upside down. Now that you have departed, I can no longer send you a screenshot of you Time of Day but it still makes me think of you!

The day he was born I knew he would be special. Del love eating great meals so him and I would hunt for different restaurants. I'm sure going to miss Del. He met the world to me. Del was the sweetest Nephew . Very thoughtful . Rest in peace .

Del Phillips was my mentor, my friend and a true hero in my life. Words cannot begin to say how much he meant to me. Heaven is beyond blessed to have this man in its realm.

I am very sad that Del is no longer with us. He was truly and beautiful and extraordinary man.

When I first met him I reached for his hand to greet him and he waved me off and took me into his arms with a strong and warm embrace, wow, I loved him then.

Over the years it seemed that no gathering was complete without Del he had such a warm and joyful presence about him that was contagious to anyone near him.
