I also worked with Lainey at MMCI on 6C, 16 years ago. I see from the pictures she didn't change much, but I do remember long hair....the smile is unforgettable. I am sorry for your loss.

Warren, it was a privilege to get to know you and Lainey throughout her illness. She was a sweet lady, and very lucky to have you by her side. Your care for her was obvious and noted by many. I was so sorry to hear about Lainey. Hadn't been in touch in years. Praying for you all during this difficult time.

I worked with Lainey at Methodist as well. She was a great nurse and and a wonderful human being. I really respected her as a nurse and saw the good she did for so many, patients and co-workers. I am so sad to hear she has left us. I am sure she will be making her rounds up in Heavan now, just like she did all the years at MMCI. Rest peacefully Lainey.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with a lot of good people, but Lainey was special. She had a heart that was pure & full of love for everyone that new her. I will miss making her my mother "sweet potatoe pie" that she love. To the family, may the love of God & all of your rich memories of her be your daily strength.

I was so very sorry to hear of Lainey’s recent passing. I worked with Lainey at Methodist when she first started. I will always remember Lainey as a committed and caring nurse and as a joyful person. My condolences to her family; my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

In all the years I have been a nurse, I have never seen someone as loving and caring as you were with Lainey. Lainey was such a bright and caring person. She was a wonderful nurse and friend. She will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to her family.

My mother, Donna Johnson, was a patient at Methodist 4 Hamilton for almost 2 months from Dec. 2008 thru Jan.2009 and Lainey was one of her nurses. She was a wonderful caring nurse and took good care of my mom and all of us too. I was saddened to learn of Lainey's death. Although my mom has since passed away, I will always remember Lainey as a caring, compassionate, wonderful nurse. My sincere and deepest sympathy to Lainey's family and friends. I know she will be missed deeply.

I feel very blessed to have known and worked with Lainey. She was such a wonderful, amazing woman who never stopped smiling. She taught me so much as a nurse and a friend. She will be missed by so many. God Bless you Lainey!

I met Lainey 22 years ago working on 6C at MMCI. What a wonderful and talented nurse and coworker. My thoughts and prayers go out to the famiy.

Lainey was such a wonderful woman, full of knowledge and an excellent nurse. She was loved and respected by all and she will be remembered everyday on 4 ham. She taught us so many things and made some of us the nurses we are today, she made such a big impact in our lives. Thank you Lainey for everything, we love you and will miss you so much.

I loved working with Lainey. She was so fun-loving and had such an infectious laugh and a mischievous grin! She was an excellent, caring nurse and a friend who will be greatly missed.

Lainey was the best friend anyone could have. She rescued me from going on my first cruise alone and we repeated the fun a year later. She was simply the best as a friend, co-worker, nurse, mother, and human being. I will miss her every day of my life. But I know she is in a better place and no longer in pain for that I am greatful.

Lainey we will miss you everyday. We are so glad you are in heaven with Dad. No more pain. Christian asked me why I was crying and remember you said they are happy tears. Well I told him you where in Heaven now and I was sad, he says "I should not be sad you are now in Heaven and you have no pain or cancer anymore and you will come back someday" Well he is right we will meet again in Heaven. Please don't talk dads ear off before we join you.
