Dear Glennie, Cheryl and Craig

I was so sorry to read about Del's passing but was grateful that I had a couple of occasions to see him in his last weeks. One regret is that we had lost touch over the years and only the unusual co-incidence of meeting Craig gave me the chance for even that brief renewal since our days at Lincoln Park. He will be missed by many but his days of trial are over and he is now at peace. I think of you often and offer any support I might be able to provide.

Glennie, we were so sad to read of Del's passing. We have many good memories from our years as neighbors and are forever in his debt. His encouraging words, over-the-fence chitchats, and garage visits are amongst them. Del was always friendly and interested in our children and grandchildren and they too, hold special memories of 'Mr. English'. Del touched many lives and we hope that your memories of your time with him will be of some comfort during these difficult days. Our sincere sympathies are with you and your family. Sincerely, Don and Lauretta McNeil

Dear Auntie Glennie
I am sorry for your loss. I mostly remember Uncle Del as he was when I was a child. Full of life and so enthusiastic. I see by his picture that he still had those same, dark eyes
that I remember so well.I know how close you and family are. My thoughts are with you Auntie, and Craig and Cheryl too.

Dearest Glennie
The loss Norma, your last surviving sibling, and then Del, your beloved husband, within four months is a hard go. Know that I am thinking of you and the rest of the family during these sad days. Take comfort in the years you were able to share together and solace in the love that surrounds you in the form of your wonderful family.
