Maevene & Family:
I have so many wonderful memories of you and Deb as I was growing up in the Coquille church. He was a wonderful Christian man and has blessed so many. Please know that you and your family will be in my prayers through this very difficult time.

Maevene and family,

Deb was a favorite cousin in our family. He was always willing to go out of his way to help. I remember the ride home from getting my tonsils removed as a kid in his black Cadillac. Even in my misery, I was proud. When I was planning and running errands for my wedding, Deb trusted me with his car--I drove through the streets of Myrtle Point with my nose in the air. Attending Coquille Church of the Nazarene with all of you was a wonderful experience. Loved Deb's loud "Amen" and his enthusiastic singing. Praying God's comfort and provision for all of you in the days ahead.

To Mavene and the Leep family,
I am sorry for your loss. Deb will definately have a place in heaven. I only met him twice, but I could tell he was a loving and beautiful person. I am sure he touched many lives.

Dear Maevene & Family:

It was so wonderful to grow up in a church where I had godly examples of God's love and grace. You & Deb were certainly in that category of influence in my life, and I thank you for it! Deb was truly a Christian gentleman. We'll be praying for you in the coming days and weeks. Love you all!

Deb is etched in my memory as a man of true conviction and concern for telling others about Jesus. While we did not attend the same church, we worked together in evangelistic crusades and joint worship experiences. May those of you who mourn do so not as those with no hope. I rejoice that he is in glory with his savior! Mark Campbell, former pastor Emmanuel Baptist, Coquille

Dear Maevene: I have so many wonderful memories of our days in the Coquille Nazarene Church. I remember how generous Deb was to us after we moved to North Bend because of a requirement of our jobs. Deb offered us his gas credit card so we could afford to drive back and forth to the church. We declined - too much pride I guess. I remember making applesauce for your family while you were in the hospital in Salem. It was such fun to watch Deb when you would sing a special at church and I will always remember his "Amens". What a guy!

I'm glad we have always kept in touch all these years. So sorry it didn't work out to stop and see you both Wed. the 13th. I love you guys. Please come to Medford and stay with us anytime you can. This is a difficult time, but remember to take care of yourself. Love and prayers.
