Dell Jackson McKenney

She was one of the all time great teachers. She had more common sense then any teacher I ever had.

The schools today need Teachers like Dell Mckenney. Not only was she a GREAT teacher she was a GREAT person.

May God be with you during this time and forever more. She was and excellent teacher Novella and I will always cherish her memory.

What a sad day. Mrs McKinney was the BEST teacher I ever had!!! I learned to enjoy listening and reading Shakespeare.
I will always remember, as the classroom door shut, her first words always: "First word..."

Please accept my condolences. Mrs. McKenney was my English teacher at Jackson Memorial H.S. I am a 1959 graduate. I enjoyed her classes and admired her dedication and her sense of humor. She was a tough teacher and I am glad she was. .

There are no word to tell you how much your mother meant to me. She was my English teacher for 3 years and my homeroom teacher. She is the reason I became a teacher. I tried very hard to be to my students what she was to me.
