Delorse Willard Obituary
Mrs. Willard died Sunday at her residence. A native of Shelbyville, she was a homemaker and member of Beechridge Baptist Church and the VFW Ladies auxiliary. Delorse was an avid Bingo player.
She was the daughter of Yoder Lee Douthitt and Mary Lee Whitaker Douthitt and was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Sherman Willard; grandson Matthew Willard; five brothers James, Roy, Jackie, Charles and Ronald Douthitt; sisters Nancy Burge and Grace Woods.
Survivors include her son Danny Ray Willard, Frankfort; grandchildren Dan Willard, II, San Diego, CA and Landen Matthew Willard, Lawrenceburg; sisters Ruby Puckett, Shelbyville, Anne (George) Howell, Bowling Green, Mary Kincaid, Linden, Ky and Darlene (Jerry) Norton, Shelbyville.
Pallbearers will be Mike Schrader, Rodney Burge, Tony Douthitt, Landen Willard, Thomas Davis and Rick Woods. Honorary bearers are Jim Wilson, Mike Shields, Stewart Whitaker and David Puckett.
Memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post #4075, Ladies Auxiliary, 104 East 2nd Street, Frankfort, KY 40601. You may share memories and leave condolences on the tribute wall at www.ljtfuneralhome.com.
