Denice Jean Charron (Wagner)
June 11, 1951 - April 9, 2024

Denice J. Charron, 72, passed away in Austin, Texas after a short, unforeseen battle with leukemia. She was born and raised by RJ and Gloria Wagner in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Denice, also known as Mimi, cherished time with her grandchildren above all else and found immense joy in their high energy presence. She was an active member of the Grannies with Gumption life group at her church and devoted her spare time to delving deeper into studying God's Word. Denice especially enjoyed hosting family and friends and always looked forward to family vacations.

Denice will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Michael Charron; children, Megan Odell (husband Craig), Chris Charron (wife Jennifer), and Jason Charron (wife Stacie); grandchildren, Easton, Grayson, Madilynn, Kaley, Madison, Riley, and Jackson; sisters, Janice Marschall, Mary Mysliwiec (husband Dan), Laurie Holden (husband Denis); brothers, Jay Wagner (wife Brenda), Dan Wagner (wife Teri), George Wagner; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, RJ and Gloria, brother, Ron, and nephew, Jason.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 4:30 pm at Real Life Church, 13701 RM 1826, Austin, TX 78737. Immediately following the service, all guests are invited to attend a dinner reception that will take place at the church. For those unable to attend Denice's Celebration of Life in person, the family invites you to join virtually at https://www.youtube.com/live/cF7ymMh6hzs?si=OdYmg6RK3W5QwxsJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Denice's honor to her church, Real Life, online at https://www.myreallife.org/give or by mailing a check to Real Life Church - 13701 RM 1826, Austin, TX 78737.

While we all miss Denice immensely, we find comfort in knowing that Jesus had his arms around her. On the day she went to heaven she texted Megan stating, "I totally surrender to our almighty." Denice is definitely resting in peace and we're grateful for all the years of memories we had with her. We love you Denice, Mom, Mimi!

Hello from the Cathy and Terry Williams Family.
It breaks our heart to know how much Denise will be missed! Terry and I were so thankful that we attended Denise's service today. It was beautiful and so very memorable for us. It was a comfort to hear the strong words that Denise is at peace - it is all of us that wish we could still have her in our lives.

Many many years ago when our kids were young, we would meet every weekend for jet skiing. It is still one of our best times when we reflect on our life's journey. Today I heard how organized Denise always was... and true to form... at the lake Denise had it all together. I was so impressed by her.

I was sad to learn we only live a short 30 miles from Denise and Mike. I would have loved to have spent more time with Denise. What an amazing woman!

Chris & Megan - your Mom musts have been busting with pride how truly wonderful kids you both are. Mike you are blessed!

Mike - please know we are close by it you ever want to get together.

Fondly

What a wonderful person Denice was! I met her and Mike several years ago after moving to Texas, I have been their insurance agent for over 10 years and have come to love this family as my own family. Prayers in the days ahead for her friends and family.

Denice was my sister. We are broken hearted over her loss. She was a vibrant, loved life , women, wife and mother. She was very proud of her children and loved those grand babies.
We would vacation annually with her n Mike , had a blast and we cherished the time together.
As sisters it was timeless, we could talk about anything and everything, and we did, , shared many laughs.
We were thankful for each other and thankful God made us sisters . Love you sis

Denice and Mike have been such a blessing to our family. We were unable to spend Thanksgiving with immediate family due to unforseen circumstances last year and they invited us into their home. Denice had prepared a huge spread of delicious food. I think she may have used every dish available in her kitchen. :) I thanked her for that invite but I don't know that she knew just how much it meant to us. She was a very special person with a big heart and we will miss her so much.
