I was recently sent denis's obituary and I was so sad to hear of his passing. We had some good years in Venice and I will always treasure them. I send my love to Erika, Kyrie and Hallie. I've thought of you all often. I'm so sad we lost touch. Godspeed denis.

can't believe you've been gone four years now. i talk to you every time i go to mom's. you have a special place on the hearth, surrounded by plants and candles. i wish i could talk to you in person, though. i've read so many amazing books that i want to share with you. seen so many good shows and movies that i want to talk to you about. the world is absolutely crazy right now, and i'd love to have your opinion of it all. i miss you. every day. i wish you were with us. i love you.
