The Marotzke family. I was saddened to see Denis's passing. I first met Denny back in the early 80s when he was working at KFGO and I was working at a competing radio station. We end up taking a Dale Carnegie sales class together and quickly became friends. A few years later I worked for a local auction company. Whenever Denis would attend one of our sales he would always greet me with a big smile, a firm handshake and a hearty hello with that golden voice of his. The past few years we only ran into each other a couple of times, but we would always share a smile and a good laugh. Lots of fun memories. DENIS WAS A GOOD MAN.

I first met Denis (& Bev) in the later 1970's when I joined the Valley RC Flyers radio control model airplane club.
I always admired Denis's "radio announcer" voice!
I can still hear him address me saying "Fred my friend....". How warm, how kind.
Knowing him, made my years with the club more enjoyable.
Peace.

Bev and family. I am so sorry for your loss.
I had the pleasure of working with Denis years ago and we always seemed to recall and share memories whenever we would meet. My condolences to you Bev and to your entire family.
