Dennae Marie Manico Hughes

Grace, Louie, Carly, Joyce, And Dennaes husband and children, I was so sorry to hear about Dennaes passing. I know how much you all loved her and how much she will be missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Dennae fondly from when I taught at Mohonasen. She was always smiling, always had something sassy and funny to say, and obviously cared so deeply for the students. She did a lot of good. She will be missed.

I worked with Dennae at Mohon in 2007-2008 where she welcomed me into the history department with open arms. Her commitment and love for her students was undeniable and very inspiring to me as a first year teacher. Sending a lot of love and light to her family and the Mohon community.

I was a student of hers about 10 years ago she's was one teacher I never forgot, she helped me out a lot and didn't give up. Sending my Sympathy for her family.

Dennae was the glue of USAM. I have so many great memories of chatting with her at the pool watching our kids swim. My deepest sympathies.

Mrs. Hughes was an amazing teacher and her willingness to work with my son was always above and beyond. She will be truely missed and prayers to her friends, family and loved ones. God Bless

We are so saddened by the loss of Dannae. Your family will be in our uppermost thoughts and prayers.

Although I didn't know Dennae personally. I feel as if I did. She taught my son for two years, and I saw the impact she had on him. I believe she inspired him in so many positive ways, as she did as an advisor to the class of 2014. Through the years, I know that she and Michael stayed in touch, for all she did for him , and so many others, I am grateful. May her family find peace in their hearts with all your beautiful memories. May she now rest in peace with God.

Dennae had a contagious smile and a heart as big as all outdoors. She loved completely and will always be remembered as a dedicated person to her students and her family. My favorite was watching her videos she posted on Facebook when her children were in swimming competition! Her enthusiasm was pure joy. RIP Sweet Lady.❤

Dear Pat and family - I worked with Dannae at The Arthritis Associates prior to her becoming a teacher. She was strong, caring and sympathetic to our patients. May she rest in peace and may her family find comfort in her memories and love.

Dennae was an amazing person always willing to do anything to help. She was such a key person in USAM over the years and she will be missed by many for her hard work, willing to help others, and council over so many things. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Words cannot express the sadness that I have when I heard that Dennae had passed. We were classmates and friends and I will always remember her and her smile and upbeat personality.
As time goes on in life and we graduate from high school and lose touch with friends that we knew. If it wasn't for Facebook it wouldn't have brought a lot of our Class on 1991 back together to see how everyone has grown, matured and changed over the years. It has also helped us see and remember those good old high school photos that get posted
There isn't one photo of Dennae that I have seen that she wasn't smiling and that is something i will always remember about her. Even in the face of what she battled you could always look to those facebook posts and pictures of her positive attitude, her courage and always smiling face. Mohon lost a great and dedicated educator but I think the students that she taught will keep her memory eternal and her spirit alive. Deannae touched alot of lives in so many positive ways.

Dennae was so special to our family. It's amazing how passionate she was about everything she did. Being the rock of her family, a great friend and an amazing teacher who cared inside & outside of the classroom. No matter what the situation, she gave her all ... including this fight she fought for so long. I am so lucky to have known her. Prayers and love to Pat, Mikaleigh, Conor & the rest of the family. It is admirable how close & strong you all are! May she be with you always.

My life is profoundly better for having known Dennae. I'll always have fond memories of our childhood together and the unconditional love/support she always graced upon me. She was as true a friend, as I'll ever have. My heart is broken.....my thoughts and prayers are with her children, as well as Louie, Grace, Carly, Pat. Please take comfort in the fact that her spirit lives on in so many of us. Goodbye sweet girl, I love you and will always cherish the times we spent together....... just being sycaway kids.

There are no words to describe how much I cherished Dennae as a colleague and friend. I have fond memories of Dennae bringing Conor and Mikaleigh into school for kids day in Ms. Jean's room. You could always tell how proud she was of both of her kids. She dedicated herself to becoming a very effective and loved teacher at Mohonasen. It is my pleasure to say she was a part of my life. I will keep her in my heart forever. I will not be in town Thursday or Friday but I will keep her spirt and her family in my thoughts during this very difficult time. My kids loved her! May she rest is peace for sure! teaching teenagers is NOT an easy job and she did it with such passion. I applaud her love and dedication.
