Dennis P. Bingaman

Dennis P. Bingaman 67, went to be with the Lord after a short battle with kidney cancer.

Born on June 9 1950 at Waynesboro hospital and passed away on Sept. 16, 2017, at Chambersburg hospital. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosa Bingaman. Bingaman is also survived by his two sons Jeremy Wayne and his wife Karla of Chambersburg and Nathan Paul and his wife Karen of Mont Alto. Three grandchildren also survive him: Skye A. Unger her husband Evan of Shippensburg, Hannah M. Bingaman of Mont Alto and Arlo G. Bingaman of Chambersburg. His sister Carol Lee, his mother Mabel "Keefer" Bingaman and his father Paul E. Bingaman preceded him in death.
Bingaman retired from the Mack Truck Company in 2007 after 38 years of service. In his free time, he loved to listen to all kinds of music and enjoyed being the M.C. at local blue grass festivals. He also enjoyed working on his 1947 Ford coupe and toy trains. Most of all he loved spending time with his motorcycle friends and riding his Harley with the "Romeo Riders" (retired old men eating out). Bingaman is remembered as being one the areas best custom car and motorcycle painters during the early 80's and 90's. He also earned his private pilot license.
There will be a celebration of life ceremony on October 14 from 1-4 p.m. at Salem Church in Zullinger.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Antietam Humane Society.
