NOKOMIS, FL - Dennis Eugene Boyer, 67, of Nokomis, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his home.
He was born October 12, 1955, in Troy, to the late Dale Boyer and Carol (Rice) Boyer, who survives in Covington.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Earl) Boyer; his children, Julie (Paul) Kowalski, Nathan (Kate) Boyer, Michael Khalil and Dina Khalil; five grandchildren, Hannah, Jenna, Kayla, Payton and Kylie. He is also survived by two sisters, Connie (Jeff) Angle of Covington and Diana Hill of Piqua; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Dennis was a 1974 graduate of Piqua Central High School and a 1979 graduate of (GMI) Kettering in Flint, Mich., where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, serving as chapter president, Class of '79 B Section. Dennie later graduated from the University of Dayton with an MBA in 1980. He retired from HAECO Americas as an executive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 7, at Moore Funeral Home, 10 S. High St., Covington, with Pastor Jon Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.
