Dennis Cast

Dennis H. Cast, 52, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011. Memorial services will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8th at the Old Mission United Methodist Church, 5519 State Park Road Fairway, KS. A rosary will be said prior to the service at 3:30 p.m. followed by a visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Charlotte Cast’s college fund c/o the family or to the donor’s favorite animal rescue organization. Dennis was born June 2, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to Herbert and Frances Cast. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1976. Dennis was in Boy Scouts of America and attained the rank of Eagle Scout in 1973. He played an active role in his children’s lives. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Frances Cast, and a sister Rose Cast. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Jean Cast; his two sons: Chris (Lyndsay) Cast, and Danny Cast; a sister, Kathleen Bock; a brother, Paul Cast; and a granddaughter, Charlotte Cast.
