On Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, 64, of McDonald, North Fayette Twp. Son of the late John and Georgia (Spear) Cook; beloved husband of Lynn (Carlton) Cook of 47 years who survives; father of Dennis A. (Vicky) Cook of Weirton, WV, Jon S. (Patty) Cook of Sharpsville, PA, Troy E. (Penny) Cook of Imperial, PA, Tami R. (Curtis) Caruso of Sharpsville, PA, and Kari B. Cook of McDonald; grandfather of 12. He was an electrician. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. at the Nobelstown United Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. I still miss you. No one could make me laugh like u could. I remember when you went to sign up for social security. You said to me "Eileen, how many years do you think we have left? I said well Denny i hope we have a few years left and we both laughed. Every one liked Denny. He had a good heart . I still look for him walking when I come through McDonald. He was a excellent electrician. We played together all the time when we were kids..

Denny. We talked about dying many times, but I never thought it would happen so soon. I sometimes smile thru my tears when I think of some of the times we had together. Like the time u bought a work van with no reverse gear. I feel I will never be able to laugh again, the way I did when we were together. We shared a bond from when we were kids until you died. That bond could not be broken and even though you are gone I still feel it. I can't believe we never talk, laugh, or cry together anymore. We all miss you so much.

I am so sorry for your loss..Time will ease the pain a little but the memories will live on in your hearts forever. I will always remember the funny stories and his shenanigans that Eileen and my mom (Jeanne) would tell me about. Remember him with a smile..he would want that.

To the Cook family, I was so sad when I heard Denny had passed.We went to grade school together(Champion) and have so many fond memories of him.He was so friendly always,even when he saw me shopping at Giant Eagle,he'd make it a point to say hello. He will be so missed.From Maureen Couderc Shoup

My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Lynn, and the entire family. DENNY was my playmate when we were little, my pal when we were older, my friend and confidant yuntil he died. I would do anything for him. We had many good times together. Even though Denny was my nephew, we thought of each other as brother and sister. I hope the good memories you have of hIm wIll help you and the kIds will help you get through this difficult time. Denny loved helping people. He was very generous with his time and skill as an electrician. We will miss him so much.

Denny was like a second father to me my whole life, and he was a wonderful friend to my dad. He was always very kind. After 30+ years of calling the house, Denny always knew my voice and would talk to me when I called for Kari. He will be missed.
