Thinking of you Kim, your brother and Dennis of course. I hope you are settling back into a less traumatic period in your life, and that you and your children are doing well. Last week I was in Taos at a big bridge tournament. Val was there. He said he had not received your message, but wished he had. He wishes you well. When Anita and I play, it is amazing how often your Dad's name come up when I blow a hand!!!! love neil

I just read his obituary in the January 2023 ACBL Bulletin. I fondly remember playing at the bridge club he and his wife ran in Woburn, Massachusetts. May his memory be a blessing.

Dennis was a super teacher. He taught my husband and I to play competitive bridge. I still use many of his expert strategies. He will be greatly missed by the bridge world.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Dennis´ passing and want to extend my sincere condolences to Chris and Kim, who I only knew as small children. My wife, Sue, and I met at Dennis and Jackie Dawson´s Bridge Studio in Woburn, MA in 1980. Through my shared obsession with the great game of bridge, I have been lucky to have kept in touch with Chris and Kim´s wonderful parents through all these years. Dennis was so happy to move back to the Boston area recently to be close to his grandchildren. He reached out to me just a month or two ago to play in an online team game. Dennis was a great guy, a fierce competitor, and a consummate professional. He will be greatly missed.
