Dennis Hammett

Dennis Hammett, 67, of Elverta, CA. Passed on April 18, 2015 in Elverta CA. He was born May 2, 1947 to Raymond Hammett of Arkansas and Violet Mostinger of Oklahoma. Dennis married Renee B Roybal on July 16, 1994 in Rio Linda CA. Dennis was in the Army and Civil Service at McClellam AFB where he retired as an air craft repairman to be able to be a full time fishermen. Dennis donated his time to Sinior Gleaners driving a truck over 10 years picking up food for the hungry. Dennis is survived by his wife Renee of Elverta CA. His sons Jerry Hammett of Sacramento,Lonnie Hammett of Sacramento, Chris Hammett of Long Beach, CA, Tony Hammett of Sacramento, Michael Hammett, of Florida, Robert Dale of Elverta, and 2 daughters Ilene Hammett of Sacramento, Reina Dale of Elverta, and his sister Linda Bryant of Folsom CA. Also survived by 35 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be Thursday, May 7 2015 at 12 noon to 5pm at the VFW. 2784 Stocton Blvd. Services are arranged by His son Lonnie Hammett with the assistance of Chris and Tony Hammett. A full Military Funeral Honors.
