He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on January 28, 1957, to Donald K. and Rose M. (Adams) Hansen. Dennis was a 1975 graduate of Treynor High School. He was very patriotic and a proud Veteran.
In addition to his grandparents he was preceded in death by his uncles, Fred Hansen Jr. "Bud" and Thomas Anderson; aunt, Alice Anderson.
Dennis is survived by his parents, Donald and Rose Hansen; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Nancy Hansen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty and Richard Raymer and Jan and David England; special nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family and friends.
Visitation is Friday, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service is Saturday, 10 a.m., at the First Assembly of God, 3320 Harry Langdon Blvd., Council Bluffs. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Treynor, Iowa.

I was so sad to hear that Dennis had passed away. I will always remember him as a good friend. He would come to our home and entertaain our children when they were young. He loved to dress up like a clown and the would always make them laugh. Please know how sorry I am for his loss. He was a great man.
