A great loss. Hello from Antigonish Nova Scotia. First heard Brendan at The Orient Lounge. At the time it had been the venue for great musicians despite being a small bar above a Chinese restaurant. Now closed. As was the norm in those days, closing time was 2:00am. The. The doors were locked and he played with commitment for the wowed crowd.
I have seen him play since. But I will never forget that night. It was special.
