In memory of
Terri
August 15, 2012
Death leaves a memory no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. I'll love you forever my sweet "Bear".
May 28, 2012
Dear Joe, Amanda and Suzanne:
You probably won't remember me, back from
Gainesville, Florida, college days....
was there when Joey was born....Oh my
goodness....what a firecracker your dad was....never a dull moment. So very bright...I just happened to being
thinking about old "friends" ....he was
one and I am so sad to hear of his passing. I wish I had known sooner....may all your wonderful memories and loving times with your Dad
be a comfort always. Jane Richardson (Fahey)

It'll be eight months in April that our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ took you home and it still doesn't seem real. I can still see your beautiful smiling eyes, hear your melodic voice and feel your arms around me at night as I lie in bed. I miss your jokes and your pranks, I miss talking about the up and coming football season. Honestly, I miss everything about you.
I'm trying hard to keep it together because I know that's what you'd expect of me but it's tough. You nick named me "Rocky" for a reason and I guess this is one of them. Remember, Bear, everything I do, I do it for you. I'll see you in my dreams my love and when I don't I'll see you in Heaven above. I Love You, always and forever.

I don't remember the first time Allen and I met Dennis, but it was during the time our daughter, Lena, was dating Joe. Since that time and over the years, whenever we got together, it always felt like we had known each other for a long time. We knew that Dennis would always have some great stories to tell and also throw in some jokes as well. If we could talk to Dennis one more time, we would say "Thank you." Thank you for a wonderful son-in-law, husband and father to our beautiful granddaughters. You can be proud of your son. Joe and Lena will have some funny stories to tell Sophie and Ashley about their Pop-Pop. And whether it's watching Joe with the girls or watching a Gator game, I know you will always be close by. We will miss you Dennis.
Love, Judy and Allen

To the Nebel family, may I extend my love and sympathy to you all at this difficult time. Dennis was an extraordinary man and he will be missed. I remember when I began to use Dennis' State Farm services back in 2001/2002. We would talk on the phone and it felt as if I'd known Dennis my entire life. When the office moved to its current location, I just had to visit Dennis and wish him well. I don't think he was in that day, but it didn't matter. The office has always treated clients like old friends. We may not know what it is, but God surely has a plan for Dennis!

To the Nebel Family,
We the Wilson Family would like to extend our love and deep sympathy to your family. Dennis was a wonderful person. For nearly 30 years, Dennis has been in this family. Three generations have meant this great human being. He was very special to my family. My fondest memories is when he made house calls in Baltimore City for his clients. A real caring person and down to earth wonderful man. May God take him under his wings. He will be missed.

If anyone ever asked me to describe my Uncle Dennis to them I would always say "He had the looks of Alec Baldwin with the personality of Bill Murray, except he was way cooler."
My Uncle Dennis was the first guy to teach me to swing a golf club. He also schooled me on the early models of the Chevy Corvette. Whenever we would meet at Grandma & Pop-pop's instead of a hardy handshake we would have staring contest. Forehead to forehead. There was one time when I thought I had him beat. I could feel him about to flinch and he kissed me. Needless to say he won again. We shared many laughs, most were at my expense. He understood that I was his younger brother's son. He felt it his duty to poke and joke me just as he did his younger brother Paul. I never did mind. It was his way of expressing his love. Uncle Dennis, I was blessed to know you. I will remember you. I will miss you dearly.

Well Dennis,
You are with the Lord now. Your wife was as dedicated, loyal, and attentive as always.
Your children were present, strong, and helpful, as any father could ask.
Your Sister, and brothers made our connection, and found peace.
Your Masonic Brethren, lifted you.
Your Corvette Club represented you.
Your friends and neighbors, far & near had nothing but accolades for you.
You will forever remain in our hearts. WE LOVE YOU.

I cannot express how saddened I am with you not in our lives. What I can express is how grateful I am for the 10+ years I knew you. Every week I was blessed that I could talk with you or see you. Over the years, I have realized how you became my father as well. As a father, you gave me your opinions and advice, but most of all unconditional love. Joe is a wonderful father and man and I have you to thank.
I’m going to miss calling you and asking you random questions. If we didn’t know the answer, I would say to Joe, “call your father”. The weekend trips to Luray, holiday events, birthdays, New Year’s Eve celebrations, Gator games and family dinner’s are some of my greatest memories with you. Most of all I loved your expression whenever you caught me sitting in your chair at grandma and pop-pops house.
I miss your big bear hugs and moon watching with Sophie. I look forward to showing Sophie and Ashley videos of their Pop-Pop at our wedding, pumpkin picking and Easter Egg hunts. While Ashley only knew you for 4 short months, I will always tell her how you visited her every day in the hospital and wouldn’t let her go. I will also continue to use the forehead trick. I promise that we will raise them in a manner that makes you proud, which means I have to teach them how to cook for their husbands!
Having Joe by my side means you are with me too. While I tease Joe that he is just like you, I wouldn’t change one thing and I hope he continues to display your personality, courage, sense of humor and love for family.I love you Dad and I will miss you terribly.

The best advice was always a phone call away, even when I failed to use it. The games that we attended over the years will always be memorable, even when we had to sit in the nose bleeds, the car broke down, or we were surrounded by 50,000 Ohio State fans in the desert. The drive to and from work in Martinsburg always seemed shorter knowing that you were on the other end of the phone, even with a state trooper in the rearview mirror. I know that we will value those memories forever.
The words could never completely describe the relationship that we had and my emotions would certainly get the best of me. So please let me grieve silently for now, and listen to the memories shared by your State Farm colleagues, masonic lodge brethren, corvette club members, friends, and family.
There is no doubt that I will miss you. I will always respect you and cherish you through the life that I will continue to lead in your honor. In celebrating a life well lived and truly appreciating every second that I was able to spend with you, you will always be my best man.
I love you and will always be proud of you, now and forever.

We lost a very good guy & colleague when Dennis passed! Shaed some great times with him over the 33 years we were together in State Farm! Our best times were every college football season where he would root for his "Gators" and me for my "Hurricanes!" He had a great sense of humor and wit! He'll be missed by many of us!
"Gator" fans are weeping today!
My deepest sympathies & condolences to Terri and the family--

Saddened to hear that Dennis has been taken from this earth to eternal life. Started together with State Farm in 1978 and he taught me a thing or two about being a great servant to his customers.
Will miss you buddy.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Dennis and I started with State Farm about the same time and shared many times together. His humor and love of life were always present. With age we lost contact but memories will never die. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I was truly blessed to have known Dennis and called him my friend.

Each day we blink an eye and watch our lives go by, but sometimes we forget to take a moment to make memories of our lives as we watch them "grow" My best memories of Mr. Dennis are those of his big, bright smiles he always greeted me with when our paths crossed. He will be with us always and we will still see his beautiful smile every day Sophie and Ashley smile! Your family will be in our family's daily prayers

Some may think that our facebook games are silly, but if it weren't for those games we wouldn't meet some of the people we meet. One of those people for me was Dennis. I loved it when Dennis came into our chat. He had a GREAT sense of humor and always made us laugh. I am honored to have met him. Rest in Peace, Pilgrim.
My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this hard time. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
