I am so sorry for your loss. Whenever I met Dennis at reunions in our mutual hometown of Red Lake, Ontario, he was great fun, and also very helpful as I worked to record the community's and pioneers' history. We corresponded for awhile, and I certainly appreciated his knowledge of his family's history. Your loss is immense.

My Dearest Dorothy, Dana And Lisa, My deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to you all, ive been searching for the words to convey to you to somehow ease your pain and i know there are few at a time like this, i am so ,so sorry i missed the service, but more so i never made it up there prior to Dennis's passing , please forgive me, Dennis was the metal that helped forge me into the man i am proud to be today, his kindness and generosity and above all his wisdom will allways be a part of me, to this day i have yet to meet a man who was as wise and fair and generally cared about people as much as Dennis, this world has truley lost a Prince among men, and will be a lesser place without this beautiful human being here, i have spent the last few days going through some of my pictures and have found many of all of you , and it has brought me a gift that in a small way eases this loss, knowing how great a husband and father , and grandfather he was , and to know you all were so lucky to have had the opportunity to spend such a great life together with such a good man, and to have all those beautiful memories, i can only pray that it gives you all some form of solice at this sad time.
Your Friend Allways;
Rod Gross.

I am sorry I could not make it to the funeral, and I send my condolences to the Paulson family in this time of sorrow. He will be missed by all who knew him and his guidance and sense of humour as well. Even though Dennis was a very successfull man , he always treated me like an equal while I worked for him and made me feel comfortable when I was with him. I hope he didn't suffer to much at the end, and that his family are feeling ok

Dorothy and family. Arlene and I would like to extend our condolences to you Dorothy. Even though the last time we were together was in Hawaii a few years ago I was fortunate to have spent some time living and working with Dennis. Always a gentleman, positive and supportive. Dana, Dorothy & family.
We would like to share our sympathy with you at such a difficult time.
When we think of Dennis we of course think of boxing. What a great supporter he was to our Andrew & of course the South Side Boxing Club. Dennis was so proud of him and always was there to watch & support him fight, drive to other tournemnts (which were many) and give encouragement. Just to have such a kind, gentle & supportive person in Andrew's world of boxing made such a difference. We as a family were happy to have known him. A good time by all was at the Paulson's at a pool party we had been invited to. Dennis could not have welcomed us to his home more. With an open door and a wonderful meal prepared by Dorothy we were in wonderful hands.
Please know that we are thinking of you at this time. Mike, Donna & Andrew Graham.

I remember Dennis as a very caring and kind person with friends and family; a true gentleman. He was always ready with words of encouragement and deeds to help out friends when in need.

Our condolences at this time to Dorothy, Lisa and Dana.

Dear Dorothy & Family,

Passed Life's Earthly Stay

As Heaven's doors open wide,
To let Dennis's soul inside,
Loved ones are gathered near,
To welcome you in my 'Dear”.

In Gods Heavenly home lies Happiness and Rest,
For the many years that you've always given your Best.
Gods Love for us is Immortal,
And our souls life is Eternal.

Your time on earth too long or too short a stay,
And your presence here at the Pearly gate today,
Indicates you have learned your lesson well,
My Heavenly Home is now yours to dwell.

I am so sorry for the loss of your husband,
I lost one of my grandson in April this year at the age of 15 and I don't think you ever get over such a tragic loss ever. Life is never the same after this

Dorothy, I knew you back in the 1980's when I worked at CIBC in Edmonton. You were a client at the branch on Whyte Ave. Also my step-daughter Patricia worked for you for a short time.

My Heartfelt Condolences to you and all your Family.
