Dennis Robert Rocha
September 15, 1946 - December 9, 2018
Dennis Rocha 72, of Escalon, CA passed away December 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Rocha, sister Sharon Rocha and daughter Laci Rocha Peterson.
Dennis was a lifelong resident of Escalon and a former dairyman. He served in the US Marine Corps Reserves and when he was younger he enjoyed calf roping and participating in the Mule Days Celebration in Bishop, CA.
Dennis is survived by his sister, Robin Rocha, son Brent (Rose) Rocha, daughter Amy (Keith) Woodard, stepson Nathan Hazard, 6 grandchildren, Antonio, Massimo, Giorgio and Sofia Rocha, Brixton and Cooper Woodard.
Graveside service will be held at Lakewood Cemetery in Hughson, Friday December 14th at 11:00 AM followed by a reception at the Escalon Portuguese Hall, 1436 1st Street, Escalon.

I didn´t know you but i was living in Las Vegas when the news announced your daughter was missing I saw your heart broken expression and that of Sharon´s my heart broke for both of you. I prayed along with the rest of the country that Laci and Conner be found on my son´s birthday your daughter was found Conner the day before and I wept along with everyone else. May you rest in peace eternally with your daughter & grandson in the lords arms .

Someone once told me that we are here on earth just for a brief time. When we leave we go to the other side with God where there is paradise. Dennis you are there with your beautiful Laci and Conner. May God bless you all. For those that didn´t know you personally,such as myself , you are still in our hearts. That just shows what an amazing soul you and your family are.

I have known Dennis since 1993 and he was always a really nice person!! He allowed my friends and I ride his Mule "Mule Chex" and my mom and I rented the back house there in Escalon (I sure wish I was still living there)!! Thank you Dennis for being kind to my mom and I!! And thank you for all of the memories!!

I knew Dennis from catechism when we were 6 years old. His parents, and then Dennis frequented our family store til it was sold in 2007 so I'd see him regularly. He was always a quiet gentle person and it was always a nice thing when you saw him.

I knew Dennis from high school and all time I lived in Escalon, and always had a great smile for everyone. He loved life and was friendly to everyone. He lit up a room and always listened to what you said. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Mr. Rocha. Thank you for doing all you did in your lifetime. You were an amazing person. Sadly, I came to know you because of Laci and Conor. I hope you and they are together now <3 Rest In Peace <3 and rest knowing that we will keep that monster in prison for the rest of his life. I named my granddaughter (she will be 15 in Feb.) after Laci because of her beautiful smile and loving heart.
