Miss Schaff, I remember as a student of yours, yoi always talked about Dennis. Please accept my condolences.

I was so sorry to recently hear of your family's loss. Dennis impressed me with his musical ability even as a Freshman. I regret that our paths did not cross again after school, but knowing the type of person that Dennis was back then, I am sure that he is now playing 1st Trumpet for the Lord and Prof Voorhies.... not necessarily in that order.

Take comfort in knowing that Dennis is with you in a spiritual way now, and I know that your family will experience the power and comfort of that in the comming days ahead.

A personal request... I guess would be that Dennis saves a seat for this 2nd clarinet player and his other band brothers that were lucky enough to know Dennis over the years, especially the ones that knew him as a friend at Archbishop Rummel High in the early to mid 1960's.
