I worked for COL Seiler and from that point forward, he was the officer I always modeled my leadership style after. Truly a great man.

I worked for Colonel Seiler in Heidelberg. He was a highly intelligent and dedicated officer, but more than that, he was a fair and generous boss. He cared about the people on his staff, forgave them when they fell short, and always encouraged them to succeed. He saw the good in people, loved to laugh, and we all liked him. He was a good man. How lucky we were to know him. "Well done, good and faithful soldier. Be thou at peace."
