TOMMY R. SMITH, age 58, a resident of Irving, Texas for 40 years formerly of Cleveland, Texas, died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at home. Born November 11, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Edward E. and Maggie M. Slaughter Smith, he married Sandra K. Hash February 4, 1977 in Irving. Some of his hobbies included: hunting, fishing, metal detecting, collecting fossils, panning for gold and growing day lilies. He was a member of Calvary Church in Irving. Preceded in death by his brother, Edward E. Smith, Jr., he is survived by his wife Sandra; daughters, Tanya Smith of Irving and Tammy Smith of Mesquite; parents, Edward E. Smith and Maggie Mildred Smith of Cleveland; grandchildren, Sean, Daniel, Jonathan and Erica. Memorial Service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Irby Earl Slaughter officiating.
