I still remember Dennis Wolf and my interactions with him. In my mind, his life was honorable and he was trustworthy. Not only was he a big man in a physical sense, but he was also huge in character and kindness.

Dennis is one of the nicest men we have worked alongside at Ft McKinley Church. Kind-hearted and knowledgeable. Full of love. Our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Dennis and I attended Jefferson Township High School together, we rode the same school bus and lived in the same neighborhood. Later, Dennis would teach at Northmont High School and I would teach at Centerville High School. but this was not our last source of contact. Dennis was assigned as my Field Training Officer when I joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in the early 1990s. It was truly a privilege to know the honorable Dennis Wolf, even though my connections to him were brief glimpses into his life. To his sister Becky, my sincere condolences.

I volunteer with Dennis at Carillon Park. He is the true definition of a gentle man and a gentleman. I will miss listening to his remembrances. His knowledge of area history was wide and deep. My condolences to his family. May his memory always be blessed.
