Dennis was very kind to me, during a very difficult period in my life. We went skiing, played racquetball, and I rode the back of his motorcycle. His belief in me eventually jump-started acquiring help I would need to recover from what l did not have the strength or the will to recognize. You are in my heart. Rest in loving peace under Jesus' wings of comfort. Thank you, earth angel.

As a teenager, I lived across the street from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church's rectory in Battle Ground while he was the pastor. Dennis was always so wonderful to talk with, so kind, and a true love for helping people. I loved his vintage 1940's era car and his motorcycle. Seeing a pastor riding a Harley was not very common. Of course, neither was he. Rest in peace.

I first met Dennis when he was our pastor at Lourdes, then we became friends & he came to work in CPS with me. I have always loved his sense of humor and that caring and giving side that he always shared with others. I loved the sight of him on his motorcycle and I know how much he loved to ride... I am happy that he made it to Sturges and had that other side of his life! he was always a good friend but I know these last years when he was ill very very hard on him, so I am glad that he is free & riding again!

Dennis has been a wonderful, caring friend for over 55 years whether in church, on the ski slopes, climbing on Mount Rainier or just sitting and visiting. What a sincere, wise and dedicated counsellor in his DSHS work. Eternal happiness with our loving Lord.

My husband and I were surprised to receive an invitation to attend Denny's ordination which we were able to do. Later we attended Mass at Sacred Heart, Battle Ground where Denny was pastor.

I worked with Denny at DSHS. He was fun to be around, but also very thoughtful. We had some great conversations! Pictures of his retirement party (cake had motorcycle on it).

Fond memories of my dear cousin Dennis. Such a kind loving person. One memory is from 1962. My Dad Arnold and his Dad Harvey took Dennis and I to Multnomah Stadium to see the LA Rams play the Green Bay Packers football teams. Fun day! Another memory was when Dennis gave me a tour of the seminary he was attending.

Such a wonderful person. We had many fun games on the handball courts--always chuckled at his "Not So Buff" handball shirt! We'll miss you Dennis--he's probably playing a "tiebreaker" with St. Peter right now! Blessings to you & all you touched......

Dennis was such a nice person. He will be greatly missed. Today is our 40th wedding anniversary and he was the priest that married us at Our Lady of Lourdes. He will be surely missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Dennis' passing. I knew him through work at DSHS and then I got to know him as a friend when I moved into his neighborhood. He was a very sweet person and will be missed. My condolences to his family in this sad time.

I knew Denny in high school where he was an outstanding student, athlete and leader plus he was just an all around nice guy. I got to see him again at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish where he always provided inspirational sermons. Denny is someone who without a doubt positively impacted many peoples lives. So sorry to hear about his passing. John Lane, Mukilteo
