Dennison Robert Brown

Even though I only took one class from Professor Brown when I was in graduate school at UH, I had ample opportunity to learn math from him because my office mate was writing her dissertation under him. Professor Brown also served on my dissertation committee. He was an outstanding teacher, and a great mathematician. He will be missed. RIP

My Name is John Black. I took 3 Semesters of Mathematics from Dr. Brown and the University of Houston. The classes were at the Undergraduate and Graduate level. I learned a great deal from him about Mathematics but also about responsibility and life in general. Sorry about his passing.
