My thoughts are with all of you, Annette, Arron, Benji, Chey and Alannah-Jane and all your families. Derek was very important to me at GBHS - he never differentiated his life into "this is work" and "this is not work". He was always there when I needed to think differently about something. He never let things get too "heavy" - he always brought his quirky sense of humour to lighten the load.

Extremely sad to hear about Derek, the loveliest teacher to his pupils and so kind to the parents. One of the nicest people you'd ever meet. Lots of hugs to his wife and family. Just so sad he went far too soon.
