Derek ROOS Obituary
After a massive stroke on March 7 our beloved Derek at age 31 passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at 9:25 on March 12 surrounded by his family and friends. He will be terribly missed by his parents Karen McCorkell Roos and Eric Roos of L'Ange-Gardien, QC, his sister Tanya (Josh) of London, ON and his grandmother Irene Laverdure, as well as many other family members and many friends. GLP for life. RIP Derek you will be in our hearts for ever. We will always love you, you are coming home. Family and friends may visit at Cadieux Tubman Funeral Home, 322 Buckingham Avenue, Gatineau on Friday, March 20, from 2 to 4 pm, 7 to 9 pm and on March 21 from 10 am until service time in the chapel at 11 am. Special thanks to Marek, Jessica and Mitzi for being there until the end as well the family wishes to thank the ICU staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their care and support.
