Sharon, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I am saddened to hear of Deren's passing. He was alway a great inspiration to me. He was the first person to offer his hand in friendship when I came to Oregon and the school he attended. That was the 4th. grade many years ago. That friendship has lasted for more than 60 years. He was and always will be a true friend of mine. You told me of his illness a few months ago but it was still a huge shock to me. Our prayers are with you.

Sharon, Deidre and family.
Deren has been a part of my life even before I can remember. Our families were so intwined. I recall Deren driving at about 10 years old and getting us all in trouble. Jessie, his mother, was like a mother to me and I loved her. My heartaches, but I know they are all at peace together at last. Such dear dear friends. Our thoughts are with you. We hold you up in our prayers and remember so many pleasant times together. God Bless you all. Patty
